Kubica wins Rally del Casentino in Italy
Robert Kubica has scored his maiden victory in a World Rally Car by dominating the Rally del Casentino in Italy. The Polish ex-formula 1 star was driving an A-Style-run Ford Fiesta RS WRC, wining 10 out of the 12 asphalt stages run around Bibbiena, north of Arezzo and taking overall victory by more than two and a half minutes from the Citroen DS3 WRC of Felice Re. It was Kubica's second win of the year after his Janner Rally success in January at the wheel of a Fiesta RRC. Kubica's next event will be Rally Finland at the end of July at the wheel of his usual Fiesta RS WRC.
