IRDC at Firle Beacon Festival 30/31 July
What is described as the UK's newest motoring festival, Firle Beacon Festival, takes place over the weekend of 30th-31st July on the Firle Estate, near Lewes in West Sussex. Organisers promise three paddocks showing a host of supercars, 40 retro and 100 rally cars. Action over the weekend will include 100 cars competing on a two-mile demonstration rally stage up the Firle Beacon Hill, and a quarter-mile sprint for cars from the Supercar Paddock.
The International Rally Drivers Club will be helping facilitate the event and there will also be displays of Minis, barn-find rally cars and NASCAR stock cars, together with some private collections, and a Saturday night music event is free to all holders of tickets on that day.
