IRDC Members Conquer 2010 Wales Rally GB

Once again IRDC members presented a solid showing on the 2010 Wales Rally GB. In the main WRC international rally, Steve Perez finished a tantalising 7.8 seconds outside the top ten in his WRC Ford Focus. Teenage IRDC member Tom Cave brought his Proton Satria home 43rd after a catalogue of mechanical woes, closely followed by 2009 newcomer's award winner Kit Leigh, driving his Ford Fiesta to 45th, ably codriven by his father Tim.
In the National rally, Nigel Griffiths claimed a creditable overall win in his Subaru competition number 202, proving that his seeding was spot-on! IRDC chairman Shaun Martin, co driven by brother Steve practiced what he intends to preach as a 2011 MSA Rallies Committee member and steered his Subaru into 23rd place out of the 44 finishers on the popular and well supported national category.
