IRDC Members on Wales Rally GB
IRDC members Roger Duckworth co driven by Mark Broomfield won the national section of the Wales Rally GB, with last year's winners and IRDC members Nigel Griffiths and Jonny Scott taking a worthy second place.
IRDC chairman Shaun Martin, codriven by brother Steve finished his 2011 Wales Rally GB in 33rd postion overall among the 78 runners in the national rally which shadowed the international event on days 2 & 3. Shaun's rally was relatively uneventful except for losing a minute after drowning out at one of the impromptu water-splashes that the treacherously wet Welsh forests had thoughfully provided!
Shaun was pleased with his rally performance and that of his faithful Subaru, on the UK's tradionally wet, slippery and foggy autumn round of the World Rally Championship. The crew is already planning its 2012 campaign.
