2015 WRC Championship Standings

Meeke's win on Rally Argentina and Ogier leaving South America with a mere 3 points does the championship no harm at all and opens up the challenge with nine rallies still to run in the 2015 championship. Ogier's lead is reduced to 33 points over Mads Řstberg in second place and 37 points on Andreas Mikkelsen in third. Elfyn Evans is now fourth on 41 points and Meeke's confidence-boosting win has put him back into contention with fifth place in the standings on a total of 35 points.

In addition, getting the first-win monkey of his back could also do the world of good for Meeke's confidence in subsequent rallies and the same could also apply to Elfyn Evans, having now sampled WRC Champaign for the first time!
