Sardinia - Sordo Scores his Second WRC Win

The WRC moved on to round 8 - Rally Italia Sardegna last weekend where Dani Sordo celebrated his second success in 164 WRC starts after a steering problem in the final stage denied Tšnak his hat-trick victory. The Estonian had led the hot and dusty rally since Saturday morning in his Toyota Yaris and began the final Stage with a half-minute advantage over Sordos Hyundai i20. The rally was Tanaks to lose but disaster struck shortly after the start of the stage and also allowed Teemu Sininen to score his best WRC result with second in the M-Sport Fiesta and Mikkelsen third for Hyundai. Ogier had retired, also with broken steering.
