Neuville Leads in Sweden
Thierry Neuville leads overnight in Sweden in his Hyundai i20 by 4.3 seconds following the first full day of the Swedish Rally. Second, some 4.3 seconds behind is Kalle Rovanpera in his Team
Toyota Yaris, 3 seconds ahead of teammate Elfyn Evans, who is 1.5 seconds ahead of Esapekka Lappi in a similar Toyota Yaris.
The day saw the retirements of Ott Tanak Hyundai i20 and Craig Breen M-Sport Ford Puma following excursions into deep and unforgiving snow banks, but both are expected to reappear under rally 2 regulations to complete the remainder of the rally.
